Teaching English in London

EnglishTeaching Methods - Our classes are intended to be enjoyable, interesting and demanding. The teachers follow a carefully strutured syllabus that introduces grammar and vocabulary appropriate to your level of English. Your teacher will use a wide variety of teaching material. You will also be taught pronunciation as a specific module of your course.
Your teacher will be available to assist you individually on a regular basis. We believe in a communicative and co-operative approach to learning in order to create the right conditions in the classroom for you to maximise your potential and to make the most of your course.

Class sizes - The maximum group size is 12, so all students have the chance to practise what is learned in a natural way.

Teaching staff - All our teachers are native English speakers and university graduates with qualifications in teaching English to speakers of other languages.

Examinations - Students on General English courses will be tested on a monthly basis to ensure that progress is being made. Students enrolled on exam preparation courses will take regular practice exams and receive special coaching in exam techniques.

Social Programme - London Language College operates its own special social programme. At the end of each week all students are invited to practise what they have learned in a context outside the school. We organize regular day-trips and nights out. Join us in visiting some of England's most fascinating places. Recent trips have included visits to Leeds Castle, Stonehenge, Greenwich and Cornwall.
